Does the white necklace get dirty? I don't think I want to buy a necklace that is so light in color.
Anything that rests against the skin for any length of time is going to pick up the oils in your skin. Yes, your gold, silver, knits, and fabrics in your wardrobe are all affected from resting against your skin. Some of these items are washed frequently so the potential discoloration never occurs while others tend to dull with wear. A simple cleaning brings all accessories back to their original color and shimmer.
All of Cruisin' Creations fashion accessories are hand washable. Simply use a little hand soap, dish soap, or clothes detergent and cold water. Lightly scrub the item with a small amount of soap then rinse in cold water. Reshape your accessory and let it dry. I like to use a sweater dryer for quick drying; however, laying the items on a counter top, bed, or any other clean surface also works.
There is an exception with bracelets. Yes, they are hand washable, but the drying process is slightly different. Again, use soap and wash in cold water. I like to put a little hand soap in the center of my palm, wet the bracelet and scrub it. Rinse in cold water then scrunch in a ball to dry.
After your accessories are dry we recommend putting a drop of clear drying glue on the knots. These knots can be found at the connecting bead of the bracelet, the tips of the tassesl on a waterfall scarf as well as the knot holding the tassels in place, where the chain, clasps, eyeglass elastics, or double split rings are attached, as well as where the seam connects both ends of a scarf. Frequent washing weakens the knots which can then come apart. That bit of glue will keep them in place and keep your accessories in good wearing condition for years to come.
